David Haun

The WV Country Music Hall of Fame announces that David Haun will be one of the inductees into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 18, 2026 in the Non-Performer Category.

David was born in Fairmont, WV and raised in Mannington, WV. He has been coming to Sagebrush for more than 20 years. During that time he has served on the board of directors for 10 years, is currently serving as Vice-President for the past two years, has served as Chairman of the WV Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum Induction Committee for three years, Co-Chairperson for four years and currently serving as a committee member for a three year term.

David was instrumental in getting several Nashville Artists into the WV Country Music Hall of Fame including Hawkshaw Hawkins, Little Jimmy Dickens, Sandy Pinkard, Mayf Nutter, The Vandergrift Brothers, Little John Graham, The Davisson Brothers, and a few other local artists. He also helped to work on the Pioneers of Sagebrush Round-Up section of the museum by researching and coming up with the starter list of names of the artists who started the Sagebrush Round-Up Radio Show in the 1920’s.

David lends a hand at selling raffle tickets, decorating, working benefit events, and the gate when needed. He is a long term member and sponsor of the Sagebrush Round-Up. You will currently find him working in the Country Store along side his wife Helen at the Sagebrush Round-Up Music Show.
