From the hills and hollers of West Virginia come voices that have traveled far beyond the Mountain State. Our Recording Artist Inductees honor the men and women who took a little piece of home with ’em wherever the music led, singin’ the stories, heartache, and pride of Appalachia for the whole world to hear.

These artists helped shape country music into what it is today, stayin’ true to their roots while leavin’ their mark on the sound of a generation. Their songs carry the spirit of these mountains, and their legacy still rings out in every note, inspirin’ folks for years to come.
